Brummie popstar Jamelia is a mother to four daughters, Teja, Tiani, True and Jream

Popstar Jamelia, 42, is a mother to four daughters, two of whom are under the age of five. The happily married singer and television personality has not revealed the identity of her husband - whom she married in 2017.

The singer - who topped the list in the noughties with hits including “Superstar”, “Thank You”, and “No More” - grew up in Handsworth, Birmingham. Born to Jamaican parents, Jamelia was raised by her single mother in a council estate.

In 2017, she shared the image of her hand in her husband’s with both wearing wedding bands. “I’ve spent the last few months counting my blessings and patience,” she captioned a post of social media, according to Bustle.

She added that “belief and audacity” led her to “the Man”. Since then, she has posted about her husband but never revealed his identity.

“I am so glad I chose to believe in the existence of you, even when people told me I was setting my sights too high,” she wrote in 2018.

However, the besotted mother often shares pictures of her daughters - including Teja, 21, and Tiani, 17. She shares Teja with music manager Terry Wallen and Tiani with ex-husband Darren Byfield. In a recent post, she posted a photo with all her daughters with the caption: “Absolutely no regrets”.

In another post, she shared how her daughter True has been waiting for the day she could wear matching outfits with the youngest sibling - Jream.

She wrote: “Please join us in celebrating this momentous occasion, a day True has been waiting for, according to her, her ‘whole life’. The day has come where she can wear matching clothes with her little sister!!!

“Her reaction bought tears to our eyes. (She always does a fashion show whenever she gets new clothes, but yesterday I surprised her with matching outfits as Jream is now big enough). Thought I’d share the joy”
