Hollywood star Jack Black, known for his acting and musical talents, recently brought a dash of glamour to Birmingham’s culinary scene.
His visit to Asha’s, a popular dining spot among celebrities in Birmingham, was marked by a heartwarming gesture that left fans and customers in awe.

Hide AdBlack, who was in town with Kyle Gass for a series of sold-out shows by their band, Tenacious D, decided to explore the city’s culinary delights before their performance at the Resorts World Arena on May 7.
He chose Asha’s, a city centre Indian restaurant known for hosting stars like Tom ‘Two Tikkas’ Cruise and singer Pink, who once said at her Villa Park concert that Asha’s gave her the ‘best Indian of her life’.
Black’s visit included a surprise serenade. Jenny McIntosh, a customer at Asha’s, shared her experience with star, saying, “He was a great guy! He had pictures with us and sang Happy Birthday to my husband!”
Black added a special touch to the birthday celebration and left a lasting impression on the guests. Asha’s staff were equally thrilled by Black’s visit. They shared a snapshot of the occasion, featuring Jack Black in a vibrant, phoenix-patterned tie-dye shirt and shorts, flanked by two smiling members of Asha’s staff.
