The show's creator Steven Knight has confirmed that filming will begin for the new Peaky Blinders movie in 2024, although the spin-offs will be unrelated to the film.

What will the spin-off shows be about?

The BBC series focused on the rise of the Peaky Blinders gang, who were led by Tommy Shelby (played by Cillian Murphy) in Birmingham between 1919 and the early 1930s. According to Bloomberg, one of the spin-offs would be set in Boston during the middle of the 20th century, a couple decades after the original Peaky Blinders.

A second spin-off would reportedly focus on Aunt Polly, the matriarch of the criminal Shelby clan who was played by the late Helen McCrory in the BBC series. No further information has been released about the potential spin-offs but fans of the show should be excited by the news.
