Adorable moment granddad Ozzy Osbourne teaches youngest grandchild how to swim

Ozzy Osbourne may not be able to perform live on stage but he is still performing his grandpa duties with love and care.

Kelly Osbourne, the daughter of the Brummie rocker & co-founder of Black Sabbath, gave birth to her first child at the end of 2022. She and her boyfriend Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson had a baby boy in November and shared the first photo only in March 2023.

In a recent photo shared by Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy’s wife, Kelly is seen outside a swimming pool while Ozzy holds her son inside the swimming pool. Sharon said on X, formerly Twitter: “Someone paid for private lessons.”

Sharon, who visited Birmingham for Black Sabbath the Ballet and Sinatra the Musical, seems to be back in sunny California - where the family still lives. She is expected back in Birmingham for a live theatre show - Sharon Osbourne - Cut The Crap! The live theatre show announcement came days after Sharon confirmed plans for a museum and cafe to honour her husband - Brummie legend Ozzy Osbourne - in his home city.

In the photo shared of Ozzy and his grandson, the 74-year-old rockstar looks excited to be showing his grandson how to swim while the baby boy, named Sydney after his father, looks unbothered to be in water.

Sydney, who is almost a year old now, is Ozzy and Sharon’s fifth grandchild. Their son, Jack, is a dad to four daughters - Pearl, Andy, Minnie, and Maple. He shares Pearl, Andy and Minnie with his ex-wife Lisa Stelly and Maple with wife Aree Gearhart. Jack and Aree got engaged in December 2021 and welcomed Maple in July 2022.

Speaking about his parenting style, Jack told People previously: “I’m a little more structured with my kids than my parents were with me like, I won’t take them out of school just to go travel. We do a little bit, but I think structure is healthy.”

The Osbournes are a close-knit family - who also work together all the time. Ozzy and Sharon’s eldest daughter Aimee stays away from the family projects and is a singer like her father.
