Reports claim the 36 year-old man may have been dead for more than three hours before anyone was alerted.

He was discovered at the hospital site on July 10, but he had not been seen moving since before 1.30pm.

It has been reported members of the public and NHS staff had continued to use the cafe around the man.

It was a security guard who realised he had not moved for more than three hours but when he attempted to wake him there was no pulse, newspaper reports claim.

Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust said it was looking into the circumstances.

The trust said a coroner had been informed about the man's death.
