Tributes paid to man shot in Small Heath
Tributes have been paid to a father who was shot in a car and died after making his own way to hospital. Mohammed Kasim, 30, was fatally shot while sitting inside a vehicle with a friend in Small Heath. He made it to Heartlands Hospital after midnight but died shortly after arriving.
Two men shot in Newtown
Police are also investigating a shooting in Birmingham which happened on Friday afternoon. Two people were shot in Wheeler Street, Newtown, just before 5pm. The men, aged 22 and 21, have been taken to hospital following the incident.
