Murder arrest after body of Kingstanding man found in car at Good Hope Hospital

A 43-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder

Police are investigating after the body of a 56-year-old man from Kingstanding was found in a car parked outside Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield yesterday (Friday, 22 April).

West Midlands Police said a 43-year-old man from Tamworth was arrested yesterday evening in Birmingham on suspicion of murder.

He remains in custody.

A post mortem examination will take place as soon as possible to determine what caused the man’s unexplained death. The car has been removed for more detailed forensic examination and the area of the car park which was closed off has reopened.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police, said: “If you have any information that could help our detectives, message them via Live Chat on the right of your screen quoting investigation number 20/393435/22. “You can share what you know with the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
