From SMEs to major developers - the individuals and companies behind the ongoing transformation of Birmingham’s skyline are being honoured at Insider Media’s Midlands Residential Property Awards.

Despite the economic headwinds, the local residential market remains buoyant, the business magazine’s deputy editor Ian Griffin explains.

This is the eighth year the awards have been held. The winners of the 16 categories will be unveiled at a gala dinner at Eastside Rooms in Birmingham on June 15.

Ian said: "Once again we’ve had a wide range of strong entries from an array of businesses, including major developers, architects, consultants and SMEs.

"This year’s shortlist reflects continued buoyancy in the market, despite the economic headwinds. It highlights the ongoing transformation of Birmingham’s skyline, with a number of high-rise schemes making the cut. Also included are some key developments in cities and towns across the Midlands."

Not included in the shortlist is the Residential Property Personality of the Year award, which will also be given out on the night to a person who has made a major contribution to the sector. To book your place, click here.
