The annual Michelin awards have been announced - from a glitzy ceremony held at the Silverstone Circuit in Northampton, broadcast live on Youtube last night (Monday, March 27).
Among the highlights for Birmingham and the West Midlands was a new star for Grace & Savour in Hampton Manor, in Hampton-in-Arden, Solihull which received one star after being open for just over a year.
It joins the five Michelin star venues in Birmingham which all retained their one stars, namely: Purnells on Cornwall Street in the city centre; Simpsons in Edgbaston;Adam’s over on Waterloo Street in the city centre; Carter’s of Moseley and Opheem on Summer Row in the city centre.
Here’s every Birmingham restaurant recommended in the Michelin Guide 2023:
1. Land
Land offers a vegan fine dining experience in the heart of the city. This independent restaurant in the Great Western Arcade focuses on seasonal produce. Michelin Guide says: “The seasonally evolving set menu offers modern vegetarian dishes with Asian influences and a creative edge. Wine flights are available.” (Photo - Land management)
2. The Oyster Club by Adam Stoke’s in Birmingham City Centre - Michelin star

3. Purnell’s in Birmingham City Centre - Michelin star

4. Asha’s in Birmingham City Centre
