Metro services delayed, but continue to run across West Midlands during heavy weather

Metro services have continued to run across the region despite the heavy rain and thundery conditions.

West Midlands Metro put out a service update on social media to inform passengers that services were running, although delays would be in place.

A spokesman for West Midlands Metro said: “Trams are operating between Wolverhampton Station & Edgbaston Village with delays.

“Trams are also operating between Wolverhampton St George's & Edgbaston Village via Millennium Point with delays.”
