Sneak peek at Birmingham Bullring M&S food hall - and cheese fans will be delighted

Exciting details about a new M&S food hall coming to Birmingham Bullring as part of a landmark store opening have been released.

The show-stopping new 68,000 sqft M&S store will offer local shoppers a fresh market-style food hall - as well as a spacious and stylish clothing, home & beauty departments.

Among the renowned M&S goodies, the store has told how customers will find a sensational selection of cheeses, as well as fresh displays brimming with great quality, trusted value produce from M&S Select Farms.

Shoppers will also be able to visit the in-store bakery for freshly baked breads and pastries – including the retailer’s famous Sourdough (made using a traditional 30-hour process). They will be able to grab a delicious bottle from the dedicated M&S Wine Shop too.

With Christmas on the way there will be a range of amazing options for festive feasts. And with new lower prices on its Remarkable ranges – including Super Soft sliced bread, RSCPA Assured fresh milk, and beef mince from trusted M&S Select Farmers – M&S say the new food hall will deliver trusted value for locals.

The new store is creating more than 90 new jobs in Birmingham and the West Midlands and follows the retailer’s recent announcement that it plans to invest c.£500 million in its store rotation programme - creating over 3400 new jobs nationwide. M&S will be closing its current store on Birmingham city centre high street.

When is the new M&S store opening in Birmingham Bullring?

The new M&S Birmingham Bullring food hall store will be one of the first of twenty new M&S stores that are due to open across the country this year.

Store Manager, Emily King, who has worked at M&S for 18 years, said:“It’s exciting to share a sneak peek of the brand new food hall design as we look forward to welcoming the community to our new Birmingham Bullring store when we open later this year!”

Fellow Store Manager, Naomi Hartley, who is job sharing with Emily and has also worked at M&S for 18 years, added:“The new food hall is packed with so many exciting features which we can’t wait to reveal, so we’re counting down the days to finally open the doors and see local customers experience it for themselves.”

Located in the famous shopping complex, the new M&S Birmingham Bullring store is ideal for bigger basket family shopping or for those popping in on the commute home. The store is located at Birmingham Bullring, Moor Street, B5 4BL and open Monday to Sunday 9am – 8pm. However no opening date has yet been provided by M&S.
