West Midlands Police have arrested a man aged 58 from Rowley Regis as they investigate ‘malicious’ social media posts

Social media posts have been reported to West Midlands Police due to concerns over hateful content.

Police have arrested a 58 year-old man from Rowley Regis on suspicion of malicious communications following the reports on Sunday (January 7). Officers said that he was being held in custody for questioning. A spokesperson added: “With the current situation in Israel and Gaza, we continue to work with partners and communities to listen, understand and keep people safe.
