Teenager suffers knife wounds to his face during fight in Birmingham’s Grand Central

Police are appealing for anyone who was in Birmingham’s Grand Central on Saturday (29 October) and saw a fight between two young men to get in contact with them.

The fight broke out at about 4.45pm and when officers attended they found a teenager with knife wounds to his face and arm.Thankfully they weren’t life-threatening but he still needed hospital treatment.

West Midlands Police want to establish exactly what happened so they’re asking any witnesses, anyone who captured the incident on their phone, or has any information to get in touch.

A statement from the force, read: “You can contact us via Live Chat at the West Midlands Police website , or call 101, quoting investigation number 20/757179/22. We can’t stop knife crime alone. If you know someone who carries a knife, you’re right to be worried.”
