A38 Queensway tunnel proposals

A scheme to block traffic from using the A38 Queenway through Birmingham is being proposed by the city council.

If the plans are accepted at a cabinet meeting next week the spaces created by the roads closure would be used for green spaces instead.

The council believe that if accepted the proposals would improve air quality and encourage healthy ways of travelling.
