Jet2 suspends flights to Poland amid Russia-Ukraine war

The British airline Jet2 has announced it is to suspend flights to Poland amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Hide AdThe budget airline is suspending flights to Krakow until 26 May, reportedly because of a drop in demand, with the company saying the “current circumstances” were behind the decision.
Poland shares a 332-mile border with Ukraine, and Jet2 operates two weekly flights from Birmingham, as well as Glasgow, Leeds Bradford and Newcastle airports, as well as four flights from Manchester.
A Jet2 spokesman, said: “Due to current circumstances, we have taken the decision to suspend our flights and city breaks programmes to Krakow from 24 March up to and including 26th May.

Hide Ad“Where customers are affected by any programme changes, we will automatically cancel their booking with a full refund.
“We are planning a phased restart to Krakow from 27th May and we will of course keep customers updated.”
