Jet2 removes two routes from East Midlands Airport and offers affected customers refunds

The two routes have been removed from Jet2’s summer 2026 programme

Jet2 has withdrawn two routes from East Midlands Airport following “a recent review” of its operations.

The airline recently confirmed that flights to Costa de Almeria, Spain and Split, Croatia, have been removed from its summer 2026 programme.

The two destinations have now been removed as options from East Midlands Airport on Jet2’s website.

Jet2 has also pushed back its new service to Agadir, Morocco, until winter 2026.

A spokesperson for Jet2 said: “As a successful business, we are constantly reviewing our flying programme in response to demand.

“While this gives us the ability to add more award-winning flights and holidays, we may also very occasionally withdraw flights.

“Following a recent review of our flying programme from East Midlands Airport, we are making some adjustments and have taken the decision to withdraw services to Costa de Almeria and Split for Summer 2026.

In addition, our services to Agadir will now commence in Winter 26/27. We will contact all affected customers to let them know their options, which include a full refund should they wish.

“We are still offering customers plenty of choice when it comes to enjoying a holiday in Winter 25/26, Summer 2026 and beyond from East Midlands Airport, and we look forward to taking them on their well-deserved holidays.”
