India’s luxury clothes store Frontier Raas to open in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham

A high-quality fashion house from India will be opening a new store in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

Hide AdFrontier Raas - which is headquarterd in New Delhi and has an outlet in London - is taking up a 3,000 sq ft retail space on Great Hampton Street. The deal was sealed by real estate group Siddall Jones.
The India-based fashion house designs and supplies luxury sarees, gowns and other traditional Indian clothing. It is expected to create several jobs. Frontier Raas’ UK stock includes everything from unstitched suits to ready-to-wear bridal collections, plus custom-made outfits.
The company is expanding into the West Midlands after the success of its first UK branch in Southall, London which opened in 2019. The company has taken up 90 Great Hampton Street on a ten-year lease.

Hide AdTushar Batra, a director of Frontier Raas, said: “There’s a big Asian market in Birmingham, which is why we have chosen the city as our second location in the UK.
“It is not just about the Indians but Pakistanis, Bangladeshis and Sri Lankans who all love wearing ethic Indian outfit for special occasions.”
Ryan Lynch, director at Siddall Jones, said: “We are delighted to have found such a great tenant for the space which will provide an active frontage to generate even more footfall to an area that is fast developing as the place to live, work and do business.”
