How to get free wine in Birmingham city centre this week

Birmingham’s biggest wine bar opened its doors on Monday (18 July).
Vinoteca located at Two Chamberlain Square features a terrace, ground floor and mezzanine area, and offers wine lovers more than 200 wines, including organic and biodynamic selections along with bar snacks, sharers, small plates and seasonal British mains.

Hide AdThe venue caters for private tastings, parties, and corporate functions, with a drinks list of over 200 wines, including organic and bio-dynamic varieties, from all over the world served by the glass or bottle. Opening just in time for the summer-heatwave, the venue also has a terrace, offering an additional 40 seats directly on the square overlooking the Chamberlain Memorial Fountain.
How to get a free glass of wine
To mark the opening of the bar this week, Vinoteca will be installing a pop-up photo booth on the terrace of its new Paradise location on Thursday, 21 July, where passers-by will be invited to capture the milestone by taking a complimentary photo, which will entitle them to a free glass of wine on their next visit.
Charlie Young, co-founder of Vinoteca, said: “We’ve loved watching the venue take shape, and after a successful soft launch period, are delighted to be able to open the doors to Birmingham. The team is looking forward to inviting guests in to make new wine discoveries, whilst enjoying freshly-prepared dishes within a relaxed and welcoming environment.”

What’s on the menu?
With a modern-British food menu, with a European twist, offering bar snacks, small plates, sharing platters and seasonal mains, guests can enjoy table service for full meals, or take a seat at the bar for a relaxed drink experience.
The mains include taleggio, courgette & spring onion fritters, pasta, artichokes, datterini tomatoes, pork tenderloin and much more. vegan options are also available.
