Hompophobic attack - Gay Village
West Midlands Police are investigating a homophobic attack on a 38-year-old man in Birmingham’s Gay Village on Sunday in which a man was hit with a bottle. The victim John-Paul Kessler was walking along Holloway Circus in the early hours of the morning when he was attacked and left with a nasty gash above his eye.
Detectives have identified a suspect and arrest attempts are on going to bring the man into custody.

Hide AdA drug dealer caught after being spotted with fake number plates has been jailed. Shaun Jones, aged 36, of Clee Road, was stopped in Shrewsbury earlier this year. Class A drugs, cash and phones were discovered.
He was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison for possession with intent to supply class A drugs, production of cannabis and being concerned in the supply of cannabis.
