Homeless man charged with two robberies in Birmingham

Mark Jack has been charged on suspicion of robberies in Moseley and Sparkhill

West Midlands Police have charged a man in connection with two robberies in Birmingham.

Mark Jack, of no fixed address, is accused of assaulting a man in Belle Walk, Moseley on 30 March before stealing his property.

It’s also alleged the 46-year-old assaulted a man and stole cash after breaking into his property in Sparkhill on 13 June.

Birmingham Magistrates' Court

Jack appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court last Wednesday (22 June) where he was remanded into prison until his next court appearance.

It comes after West Midlands Police issued an appeal on social media earlier this month for information to support their investigation.

Officers have thanked those who responded.
