The latest winners of the Good Food Awards have been announced, including a number of brilliant restaurants and cafes in and around Birmingham.
Established in 2002, the annual awards celebrate culinary excellence across the United Kingdom and are highly respected in the food industry.
Split into categories such as Fish and Chips, Cafes and fine dining, the Good Food Awards are entirely based on merit, and free to enter, with the public casting votes for their favourites.
Also known as The Blue Ribbon for Delicious Dishes, the Good Food Awards are decided based on food quality, service and value.
The highest accolade, The Gold Seal, is given to Good Food Award holders who have attained award status for three consecutive years or more.
Birmingham is home to one gold seal winner in the fine dining category. It was one of four winners in that section. We had cafe winner, four fish and chip shop winners and one takeaway.

1. The Barn At Berryfields, Meriden - Fine Dining, Blue Ribbon
This independent A La Carte restaurant is part of a family-run hospitality and leisure complex consisting of a farm shop, bakery, butchery, private dining room, seasonal events and outside seating area. 2. Alam Restaurant, Nechells - Blue Ribbon for fine dining
This opulent multi cuisine restaurant has simply stunning interiors. It serves up breakfasts, curries, sunday roasts and desserts in its restaurant and courtyard - and is even hired out for weddings. You can find it at 356-358 Coventry Road Nechells B10 0XE
3. Basmati Restaurant, Great Barr - Fine Dining Gold Seal
This bengali restaurant scooped a Gold Seal for it authentic, home-style cuisine. The team are proud of their new flavours and cater for romantic dinnersand any occasion - bringing a truly enjoyable experience. You can find them at 230 Birmingham Road, Great Barr, B43 7AG
4. Jungle Street Kitchen, Lichfield - Fine Dining Blue Ribbon
