Free to enter Shropshire museum named among UK's ‘most underrated' attractions
Cosford attraction is fifth in the list and joins two other museums in Birmingham to be named among the country's most underrated
A military museum in Shropshire has been named one of the UK's most underrated attractions.
The free to enter RAF Museum Midlands in Cosford is fifth in the list of UK destinations, according to analysis conducted by luggage storage platform Stasher.
The firm looked at 538 UK attractions, comparing Wikipedia pageviews, hashtag activity on social media and ratings on Tripadvisor to identify highly rated attractions receiving relatively little online attention.

RAF Museum Midlands earned a Tripadvisor rating of 4.7 out of five alongside an online popularity score of 19.9 out of 100, giving it an overall rating of -77.07.
The museum is England's second highest underrated attraction in the list, behind the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham which also tops the overall ranking.
The attraction is housed in a former workshop which was vacated in 1981 by a family jewellery business.
It had a Tripadvisor rating of 4.7 and an online popularity score of just 2.2, giving it an overall rating of -89.03.
Also featured in the list are the Back to Back houses in Birmingham in seventh spot. The restored buildings date back to the 19th century and showcase a courtyard of working people's houses.
It has a Tripadvisor score of 4.8 and an online popularity score of 24.6, giving it an overall rating of -74.97.
All five highest-ranked underrated attractions in the UK are museums.

Jacob Wedderburn-Day, chief executive and co-founder of Stasher, said: "It's easy to focus on the attractions you see recommended everywhere but places like the RAF Museum in Cosford show why it's worth looking beyond the usual travel lists.
"The museum gives visitors an opportunity to explore aviation history and its strong Tripadvisor rating suggests people value the experience even though it receives relatively little attention online.
"It's also worth allowing enough time to explore the collections properly rather than trying to squeeze everything into a short stop.
"Sometimes the places you hadn't originally considered can become the highlight of your trip."
