Police have released four shocking images that capture the moment a cannabis farm was discovered under a West Midlands nail bar.
The discovery was made when officers from Warwickshire Police visited a house on Grosvenor Road, Leamington on September 16 after reports led them to believe there was a cannabis grow inside.
Officers discovered that the electricity had been bypassed, there was equipment in line with a cannabis grow in the loft, and a sizable quantity of cannabis. However, the grow itself was no longer running.
But when police visited a nail bar business linked to the owners of the property, on Leamington’s Regent Street, they discovered an active 47-plant grow in the basement.
Four people were arrested, including a 36-year-old woman from Leamington and a 45-year-old man from Birmingham on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cannabis, and a 32-year-old man from Birmingham and a 43-year-old man from Leamington on suspicion of production of cannabis.
The 36-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of abstracting electricity.
