An award-winning Walsall restaurant which serves contemporary Punjabi cuisine has been re-imagined with a completely new-look dining room and stylish new cocktail lounge.

Considered one of the Black Country’s finest restaurants,  Five Rivers Á la Carte opened over a decade ago in Walsall and is now set to unveil its glamorous make-over.

In addition to the stylish new dining area bedecked in bold hues of navy blue and canary yellow, guests can look forward to a carefully curated new menu and wine list when doors re-open to the public on February 10.

Head Chef Divesh Anand whose experience includes the world famous Oberoi hotel, has created  some tantalising new dishes including Chimichurri Grilled Lobster and Lababdar Clams.

To launch the new cocktail bar on the mezzanine level, an innovative new cocktail menu has been designed by mixologist, Neha Pendhaya, from Dubai who has created elixirs to complement the cuisine such as the exotic Tamarind Margarita and Chilli Martini.

The independent restaurant has been recommended in The Michelin Guide and has won a feast of accolades over the years including winning Best Midlands Newcomer at the British Curry Awards.

Founding Chef, Rashpal Sunner, has prepared fine dining dishes for the likes of former President Bill Clinton and many high profile celebrity guests including Bollywood Legend Amitabh Bachchan.

“We have worked with a Birmingham based agency, Faber Design, the creative genius behind Michelin starred Adam’s restaurant, The Bracebridge, the elegant Edgbaston Boutique Hotel and Folium to bring our vision to life. The team is very excited to welcome guests, old and new, to the new look restaurant this February."
