10 brilliant photos of England fans at Heidi’s Bar in Birmingham for USA clash

Heidi’s Bar on Broad Street showed the action on the big screens - here are 10 photos from the evening

England may have produced a rather underwhelming display during Friday night’s 0-0 draw with the USA in their second World Cup group match, but fans still enjoyed watching the game at packed out bars across Birmingham.

The USA put up a strong fight and were arguably the better team on the night, but were unable to break through with a goal.

England had a few good chances to take the lead themselves but were put under the cosh defensively for much of the game. With a spirited performance against Iran in the opening match, winning 6-2, many fans will be left disappointed with the performance.

England fans packed out Heidi’s Bar on Broad Street to watch the match at the bar’s fan zone.

The Broad Street bar showed the action on big screens at the flag-filled venue, with staff wearing face paints. There was a brilliant atmosphere at Heidi’s despite a slightly dull game!

Here are some photos of fans from the evening.
