Elderly woman hospitalised after hit and run in Moseley

Police are appealing for information following the incident

A 70-year-old woman has been hospitalised after she was injured during a hit-and-run in Moseley at the weekend.

It happened on Russell Road just after 9am on Sunday (23 January) and the woman was taken to hospital with a fractured pelvis.

West Midlands Police said she remains in a stable condition.

The car left the scene and the force is carrying out CCTV and other enquiries in the area to identify the car and driver.
