Crufts is well known around the world for its competition and events. The dog show once again takes place right here in Birmingham in 2024 and there’s plenty to look forward to.

The event will showcase over 200 diverse breeds of dog with the Best in Show winner set to be crowned once again on the final day of the event, which will be a Sunday. Around 150,000 visitors are expected at the show this year.

The crowning glory of Crufts is the ‘Best in Show’ award which sees all the winning dogs from the various best breed categories compete for the coveted position of top dog, aka ‘Best in Show’. Its position as the flagship event will be no different next year and a number of other competitiocompetitions's will be taking place as well. Last year, Orca, the Lagotto Romagnolo, won the competition's primary event to be crowned Best in Show.

Competitions such as agility, heelwork to music, and flyball will also be taking place in 2024

It was a fantastic event at Birmingham's NEC last year, and the world's biggest and best dog show is once again taking place at the Birmingham venue for its 30th year.

When is Crufts taking place in 2024?

Crufts 2024 will take place at Birmingham's Resorts World Arena, from Thursday, March 7 to Sunday, March 10.
