Staffordshire Police renew appeal for Crooked House fire witnesses as two men are arrested

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life in the Crooked House pub fire incident in Himley, Dudley.

A 66-year-old man, from Dudley, and a 33-year-old man, from Milton Keynes, were arrested and stayed in custody yesterday (Thursday, August 24). They are being questioned by Staffordshire Police officers while the investigation continues.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: “Detectives investigating the fire at the Crooked House pub in Himley have arrested two men. A 66-year-old man, from Dudley, and a 33-year-old man, from Milton Keynes, have been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.

“They remain in custody and are being questioned by officers while the investigation continues. We continue to appeal to anyone with any information which could help us to get in touch.”
