Crimewatch Live issues appeal over burglars who raided family-run business in Birmingham

West Midlands Police investigators have appeared on BBC’s Crimewatch Live this week to appeal to identify burglars who raided a family-run business in Birmingham.

Det Sgt Laurence Green, from the West Midlands Police Force CID, was on the show on Thursday (October 5) to ask if the public if they recognise any of the men captured on CCTV footage at the coffee machine company which was broken into last summer.

Two vans believed to have been used in the burglary on 24 August, 2022 at Birch Road East Industrial Estate, have since been recovered in Bilston and Darlaston.

DS Green, said: “Those vehicles have now been examined by forensics experts, as have the premises, and we’re urging anyone who recognises the people in the image to come forward.”
