During the latest patrols in Washwood Heath on Friday afternoon (April 26) police arrested a man in his 40s on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. They also arrested a 16 year-old boy.

In addition to the arrests officers recovered suspected class A drugs and a meat cleaver which they suspect was intended for use as a weapon.

Inspector Colin Gallier from the Project Guardian team explained that officers were searching a property for more evidence. You can see his full statement in the video at the top of this story.
