Boy, 16, arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Birmingham - full police statement

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested for attempted murder in Birmingham.

The male victim, also 16, was taken to hospital with a serious arm injury following disorder in Belchers Lane, in Saltley on Friday (May 17).

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We have arrested a 16-year-old boy for attempted murder. A 16-year-old was taken to hospital with a serious arm injury following a disorder in Belchers Lane, Birmingham on Friday (17 May).
