Teenager 'deliberately' hit by a car outside Sutton Coldfield bar

Police have launched an investigation, following the incident outside the Sutton Coldfield bar. The 19-year-old man was left with a serious leg injury due to the deliberate act, outside Bar 28, on Birmingham Road.
Police say they now need the public's help after the victim was struck by a car late on Friday night (March 23). The incident took place at around 11pm near to the junction of Duke Street.

Hide AdA man aged 26 has been arrested in connection with the incident, but police are now trying to "establish the circumstances". They urged witnesses, or anyone with information or dashcam footage, to come forward.
The victim, who was rushed to hospital, remained in a stable condition on Saturday evening.
West Midlands Police’s appeal read: "We are appealing for the public’s help after a 19-year-old man was left with a serious leg injury after being deliberately struck by a vehicle in Sutton Coldfield.
"The incident took place on the Birmingham Road, outside Bar 28, last night (Fri) at around 11pm. The man received a serious leg injury and was rushed to hospital for medical treatment where he remains in a stable condition.
