Small Heath stabbing: fourth person charged with murder of teenager

A fourth person has been charged with the murder of a teenager who was stabbed to death in Birmingham last year.
Sabir Maow, 18, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court yesterday (2 February) accused of murdering Yahya Sharif.
He’s been remanded in custody.

Hide AdYahya, aged 18, died after being stabbed on Coventry Road, Small Heath just before 5.30pm on 10 December.
Maow who is from Plowden Road, Birmingham, is the fourth man to be charged with Yahya’s murder.
Meanwhile, West Mildlands Police still urgently need help to find Abdirahaman Yussuf.
The 19-year-old from South Yardley is wanted in connection with Yahya’s death.

“If you know where he may be or if you have seen him recently, message us via Live Chat on our website west-midlands.police.uk. Please quote reference number 3643 10/12/21.
“The charity Crimestoppers are supporting us by offering a reward of up to £5,000 for anonymous information they exclusively receive - via their website Crimestoppers-uk.org or by phone on 0800 555 111 - which leads to the location and arrest of Yussuf.”
