Four robbery suspects arrested for two separate offences in Sandwell

A man was assaulted and robbed of his mobile phone in Sandwell the early hours of this morning (Thursday, April 25), days after another victim was robbed at knifepoint.
West Midlands Police has arrested four suspects for the two separate offences as they increase their resources in the Black Country district. In the latest robbery incident a male victim’s mobile phone was stolen in Hall Street, Cradley Heath at around 1.45am.

Hide AdThe attackers fled in a car but following quick time enquiries officers identified and traced three suspects and took the men, aged 23, 28 and 32 into custody for questioning while retrieving the mobile phone.
They also acted on information and detained a teenager following a knife point robbery in Pritchard Street, Wednesbury, at around 5.10pm last Sunday. The 16-year-old was arrested this morning and will now be questioned.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “Tackling robbery is a priority and we are already running Operation Ruby to catch anyone involved. We have extra resources in Sandwell today to tackle issues which matter to you as part of #OpAdvance.”
