Police are appealing for information after gunshots were fired in Oldbury last night (Sunday, March 17).

They are understood to have been fired from a passenger in a silver Mercedes towards the occupants of a black BMW. It happened in Elizabeth Crescent at around 6pm before both vehicles made off. No-one is known to have been injured.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We know how concerning this is for the community and we're doing all we can to find out who was involved and why. There will be a police presence in the area  and we're appealing for anyone who can assist with our enquiries to come forward.

“We're particularly keen to hear from anyone who was passing through Elizabeth Crescent and Princess Road area - between 5.30 and 6.15pm - and may have dash cam footage.
