Medals including veteran’s badge stolen in Sutton Coldfield burglary

Police are now appealing for help to get the stolen medals back

Two medals have been stolen from a house in Sutton Coldfield.

West Midlands Police said the medals, a Mayor’s Award medal and a veteran’s badge, have a lot of sentimental value to the owner.

The break-in happened on 22 January. The person who took them may have already tried to sell the items.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police , said: “If you’ve seen them, or have any idea where they are, please get in touch as soon as possible.

“Drop us a message via Live Chat on our website, or call us on 101. Please quote crime number 20/156828/22.”
