The teenager suffered life changing injuries when he was shot just before 7pm on 18 November.

The victim is understood to have been chased into the underpass of Hockley Circus, where he was shot in the back. He’s still recovering from his injuries.

Police said Edwards, 19, was due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today (15 December).

Two 17-year-old boys and a 20-year-old man who were previously arrested on suspicion of attempted murder remain on police bail.
