A number of criminals were sent to jail last month (June 2024) for a range of offences.
We’ve rounded-up of the criminals in and around Birmingham who have been sent down in June.
We have included the names of the people jailed, with details about the offences committed.
The photos and case details have been released by West Midlands Police.
1. Muhammed Waqas
A man whose dangerous driving culminated in a collision last year in Birmingham which cost a man his life has been sent to prison. After pleading guilty, Muhammed Waqas was sentenced to eight years in jail | WMP
2. Corley Cadby
A man pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm after another man was mowed down by a car in Digbeth, #Birmingham last year. Today Corley Cadby was jailed for more than 7 years. | WMP
3. Tarik Al-Mitheab
Tarik Al-Mitheab, was found guilty of murder on 29 May, despite claiming to have stabbed Mr Alabdullah in self-defence. On 7 June he was jailed for life and ordered to serve a minimum of 20 years. | WMP
4. Christopher O'Brien
Christopher O'Brien from Kings Road, Birmingham was jailed for 15 years for stabbing two men in a Birmingham house. on Thursday 20 June he was sentenced to a lengthy jail term. He was sentenced to 15 years for one offence of grievous bodily harm and five years for the second offence of grievous bodily harm. The sentences will run concurrently. | WMP
