Three men and woman arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Birmingham

Police have arrested three men and a woman on suspicion of attempted murder after a man in his 40s was left with serious injuries in a stabbing in Birmingham today (August 24).

Hide AdPolice were called to Dudley Road at its junction with Bellefield Road shortly before 1.30am. The victim was taken to hospital after receiving a slash injury. He is now in a stable condition.
Three men aged 34, 29 and 26 and a 22-year-old woman were all arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They remain in custody.
A statement from the force, read: “We believe there were a number of people in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident.
