A 13 year-old boy suffered injuries after he was stabbed in the stomach and leg in Birmingham.

Police said they were called to Cottsmeadow Drive in Washwood Heath at around 4pm on Wednesday (April 24).

They arrested two teenage boys, aged 13 and 14, who were charged with wounding with intent and possession of a knife. They are appearing before Birmingham Youth Court today (Friday, April 26).

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “The victim is continuing to recover from his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.”
