Police name man charged following burglaries in Birmingham and Solihull

A man has been charged with five counts of burglary in connection with a series of break-ins at businesses in Birmingham and Solihull .
Barrie Deacon, 44, from Birmingham is alleged to have participated in 5 burglaries across Birmingham and Solihull , which occurred between July 2023 and January 2024.

Hide AdHe was arrested on 27 February and appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court on 28 February.
West Midlands Police said: “We know these offences are worrying for the community and that burglaries have a massive impact on the people and families affected.
“We investigate any evidence we receive and our neighbourhood officers regularly carry out reassurance patrols in areas where burglaries are reported.”
