Extra police patrols as shots fired at second property on a street in Perry Barr, Birmingham

Shots were fired at a second property from a car for a second time on a street in Perry Barr in Birmingham.
West Midlands Police has put extra patrols around Glendower Road following the second incident at just after 11pm on Saturday (May 18).

Hide AdA spokesperson from WMP said: “No-one was injured at the property and we believe this to be a targeted attack.” This latest incident follows a previous shots being fired at another property on Glendower Road on the afternoon of Saturday, May 11.
Following this earlier shooting, a 23-year-old man was charged with firearms and drugs offences, and appeared before Birmingham magistrates on Wednesday (May 15) where he was remanded to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on June 12.


A spokesperson for WMP added: “We have not ruled out the possibility that the incidents could be linked, and this will form part of our on-going investigation. We know how concerning this will have been in the community with two firearms incidents within a week.
