Coronavirus infection rates are rising across the UK once again, official figures show.

There were 303,504 positive test results in the week to November 25, up 9.5% from the week before.

At a regional level, Northern Ireland has the highest infection rates in the UK, with 625 cases per 100,000 people, followed by South East England, with 524 cases per 100,000.

London has the lowest rate, with 318 cases per 100,000.

Here are the neighbourhoods in Birmingham with the fastest rising case rates

1. Kings Norton

Kings Norton had 406.4 Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people in the latest week, a rise of 250.0% from the week before.

2. Summerfield

Summerfield had 161.8 cases per 100,000 people in the latest week, a rise of 239.9% from the week before.

Perry Beeches East had 307.6 cases per 100,000 people in the latest week, a rise of 185.6% from the week before.

4. Hawkesley

Hawkesley had 388.3 cases per 100,000 people in the latest week, a rise of 163.6%  from the week before.

5. Ladywood -Summer Hill

Ladywood -Summer Hill had 322.2 cases per 100,000 people in the latest week, a rise of 154.5%  from the week before.
