Coronavirus case numbers are falling but remain high across the UK, official figures show.
There were 579,638 cases in the week ending February 03, a 16% fall on the number seen the week before.

Hide AdIt is still nearly double the number of cases the UK saw in the last week of November, before the Omicron wave hit.
In Sandwell cases have fallen. There were 744.6 cases per 100,000 people in the week to 3 February, compared with 1133.9 cases in the week to January 27.

1. Warley South
Cases of Covid-19 have only increased in Warley South.
Warley South has seen case rates of positive Covid cases rise by 22.5% from 648.5 cases per 100,000 people to 794.4.
Biggest fall
Here are the neighbourhoods in Sandwell with the biggest drop in case rates in the past week.
1. Great Barr
Great Barr has seen case rates of positive Covid cases fall by 58.7% from 1150.3 cases per 100,000 people to 475.5.
2. Smethwick East

3. Rowley East
Rowley East has seen case rates of positive Covid cases fall by 55.6% from 1911.1 cases per 100,000 people to 849.4.

Wednesbury has seen case rates of positive Covid cases fall by 52.0% from 1445.4 cases per 100,000 people to 693.2.
5. Ocker Hill
Ocker Hill has seen case rates of positive Covid cases fall by 51.7%, from 2028.7 cases per 100,00 people to 979.4.
