Road closures: four for Sandwell drivers this week
Drivers in and around Sandwell will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 9pm January 20 to 6am January 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, jct four to jct three, lane closure for barrier repairs.
And a further three closures will begin over the next seven days:
• M5, from 9pm January 23 to 6am February 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions M6 jct eight to M5 jct 2, lane closures for drainage works.

• M5, from 9pm January 25 to 6am January 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, jct one to M6 jct 8, lane closures for barrier repairs.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
