A Birmingham takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Smashed Burg, a takeaway at 290b Aldridge Road, Perry Barr, Birmingham was given the score after assessment on April 22, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Birmingham's 916 takeaways with ratings, 305 (33%) have ratings of five and 25 have zero ratings.
