Tributes for Jack Dromey MP

Tributes continue to pour in for Erdington MP Jack Dromey who passed away in his flat last Friday.

The 73 year old is understood to have died from natural causes. A family statement said that he was a much loved husband, father and grandfather, and he will be greatly missed.

Witness appeal after cyclist dies in a canal in Ladywood

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclists body was found in a canal in Ladywood last month.

65 year old Paul Morris was captured on CCTV before his passing. The death is being treated as “unexplained” after a post-mortem examination was inconclusive.

Fatal accident on M6 on Sunday

West Midlands Police have confirmed that a man is his 40s has died in a collision on the M6 this Sunday. Officers were called to reports that a van had collided with a lorry near junction 10 just after 10:45am. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
