Three cars and a coach were involved in a crash in Birmingham city centre at 7.30pm last night (Wednesday 16 March).

Four people were injured in the incident on Sherlock Street.

A 19-year-old man, who was driving one of the cars, suffered life-threatening internal injuries.

He’s now in a stable condition in hospital.

A car passenger, aged 18, suffered serious injuries to her legs and is also receiving treatment.

Police closed the road to examine the scene and gather evidence. It’s now reopened, but the investigation is ongoing.

A spokesman for the force, said: “We need to find out exactly what happened.
