The world’s ‘first interactive football and dining experience’ will open a bar in part of the former Debenhams store in the Bullring.

TOCA Social, a new dining and entertainment brand, will combine football-based games and American dining cuisine, and will join Marks and Spencer, which will also open in one of the old Debenhams units in the lower and mid-levels of the Bullring.

TOCA Social will be located above M&S, taking over the top floor of the fashion retailer, which closed earlier this year - both are due to open in 2023.

The announcement follows the opening of the mini golf course, Treetop Adventure, which opened its doors in the former Forever 21 fashion store unit in the Bullring earlier this year.

The popular mini golf venue has two indoor 18-hole mini golf courses – the Tropical Trail and Ancient Explorer – as well as a Bonus 19th hole which gives guests the chance to win a free round.

The TOCA brand recently launched its first venue at The O2 in London, which has three bars, selfie booths, arcade machines and a Willy Wonka inspired dessert room. The new TOCA Social space at Bullring & Grand Central will have immersive pitches where groups can socialise and play a series of football-based games, enabled by innovative ball delivery and tracking technology.
