One of the popular reality TV shows is set to return - and it might have a famous Birmingham face on it.

Plans for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2023 underway - just two months after footie hero Jill Scott was crowned Queen of the Jungle. And bookies have already listed the odds on the favrourites to appear with Brummie comedy legend on the list.

Joe Lycett who is originally from Hall Green, but now lives in Kings Heath is Brummie and proud of it. He’s had a host of high profile public appearances lately - including that David Beckham World Cup Challenge, and of course his Twitter campaign around ex-PM Liz Truss.

The comedy star is also set to host a new chat show for Channel 4 set against a backdrop of Birmingham’s world famous canals. Now with plans afoot for I’m A Celeb 2023 he’s been named along with former Apprentice candidate Thomas Skinner and TOWIE star Pete Wickes as a favourite to enter the jungle.

Lycett is no stranger to TV and previously presented BBC Two‘s The Great British Sewing Bee and Channel 4‘s Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back. OLBG revealed the latest betting odds for this year’s show and Lycett has a 7/1 odd of going in, and he would definitely be a crowd puller.

Other I’m A Celeb contestant contentders, according to the bookies include TikTok sensation and podcast host, Grace Keeling, and former footballer and podcast host Peter Crouch.
